Getting married in Mexico has become an extremely popular option for people from all over the world, who often combine their wedding ceremony with their honeymoon vacation. Below, you'll find a general list of documents and papers needed to get legally married in Mexico. As part of the service we offer, we coordinate all legal papers for you. We just need from you: 1. Personal information (full name, address, date of birth, full name of parents) of bride, groom and witnesses. Please click the link to print the correspondent form for Bride, Groom and Witnesses, fill it in and email them back to us. 2. Certified copies of your birth certificates that have been previously legalized by the Consulate of Mexico with jurisdiction over the country of birth. 3. Copy of your passports and tourist cards. 4. If you have previously been married, you must prove that it has been one year since the official dissolution of your last marriage or since the death of your previous spouse. This will require certified copies of the divorce decree or a certified death certificate. 5. The couple must also have four witnesses over age 18; witnesses must be over age 18 and need to have ID. Parents can not perform as witnesses in the legal ceremony. 6. Blood Test, we recommend to have them made in Mexico. Couple needs to arrive at least 2 working days prior to legal ceremony.

NOTE: Please remember that this information is general, and may vary from state to state. Foreigners wishing to marry Mexican citizens must obtain authorization from the National Institute of Migration (Instituto Nacional de Migración). This will take a bit longer and there will be more paper work to process.
